Madness!!!!

For the brief period that I owned the travesty that is the Nintendo Wii, the one saving grace was how f***ing awesome and fun those Super Mario Galaxy games were.

I have no problem with my wii, I'm looking forward to the WiiU.

I am going to trade in the garbage that is Madden 13 today and pick up NBA 2k13 and have some fun with the Bulls.

I haven't been interested in Assassin's Creed since the first one. But AC3 looks really f***ing good. I'm thinking about buying it.

Games like that should just be Redbox'd. You can likely beat it in a week, costing yourself $10 instead of $60.

It depends. I haven't had much difficulty dropping 30 hours into the last few games (not including the hot/cold multiplayer) since I like doing all the side stuff and challenges.

In Guild Wars 2, there's a little kid running around the main city dressed as Altair for Halloween.

There are little kids it Guild Wars 2? I've never played the game, but I'd imagine it's a killing/violent game. Surprised they'd have kids running around. But that's pretty cool he's dressed as Altair.

My God. NBA 2K13 - how do they do it? How do they improve upon perfection?

 

My alt-reality Bulls are going to be fun. I'm forcing Rose to miss the first half of the season, but will make moves around with the team keeping the core intact. I wish they could figure out a way to get the amnesty clause in the game so I could easily rid myself of Boozer.

And then, to ruin my high, I advanced to the offseason and I see not only does Michael Young retire, who was GREAT for my team, but RA Dickey retired, AND Magglio Ordonez retired. Damnit. Guess I have some work to do. Looks like I may need to call up Kolbrin Vitek to play 3B for this team, and Jose Quintana and Nestor Molina will be in my rotation alongside Danks, Sale, and Humber.

NHL 13 online is the best. I haven't even bothered with a season, a career, or anything. Playing against friends and randoms online yields such entertainment!

 

Last night, I was the Hawks vs his Canucks. I went up 3-0 quickly and rode my stick around the ice in celebration like a jackass. (The goal celebration modifiers are hilarious). He came back and tied it with 13 seconds left in the game.

 

I scored in OT with a Tazer backhander, and rode my stick around like a jackass.

 

I was drunk and wasn't going to lose, and it's so much easier to quit and start back at 0-0 than to fight my way back from a 12 point deficit halfway through the 3rd quarter.
