Hey, Morel put a ball in play kinda.

Thing that sucks is if he changes his approach for a few games because of that 0-4 4K game

No, but I'm surprised that it hasn't been tweeted, mentioned in the pregame, or noted by Hawk/Stone if he was.

Hawk said he was in the lineup earlier, and they switched it...would imply he's not injured.

Not liking the fact Morel seems to be aiming for right field again to start this year.

An opposite field approach is a good one. No one wants to be a pull hitter.

Yeesh, Beltre torched that ball.

Brent Morel was a hell of a lot better hitter when he was working on pulling the ball late last year, and sucked when he was trying to flip it the other way.

Well, that was a HR by Beltre. Whoops.

Getting away with the hanging slider against both Hamilton and Beltre.

Got to get crisper with that pitch, Jake.

It wasn't til he started swinging with authority last year that he began to hit.

The opposite field approach is his "trying not to get sent down approach."

That was actually a good slider to Young. It of course then became a hit.

Is Peavy just throwing slider, slider, slider?

god this texas lineup is just terrifying. power after power after power.

I think Flowers did a quality job of framing that pitch.

And just when you think you got through it, Napoli comes to the plate...

And to think they might have gone after Prince if they didn't get Darvish.

Peavy not getting any calls on the outside corner.

First pitch should have been called a strike. For some reason it was called a ball.

Oh my....

Yeah....

Gotta bust these guys inside. Everything away, away, away and you aren't getting any calls.

It's suicide for Peavy to be down 3-1 in the count and have to throw a FB.

Napoli's OPS was 1.072 in the second half of last season, yikes! Lucky that stayed in the park.

The "Jakemeister" grooving low fastballs to a low fastball hitter

Problem was that last pitch was right down the middle.

Moreland hits Peavy pretty hard
