Cabrera 4/28 (143) career against PEAVY.

Walks.

Ohman against Fielder?

Reed's close to ready as well.

Yikes...

Let Peavy pitch out of it. Worst comes to worst, we have a 1 run lead.

Rios makes the catch in RF, two down.

Reed and Ohman warming in the pen.

Peavy had thrown 86 pitches at the start of this at bat.

Based on a normal pitcher's standards he should have plenty of gas left in the tank.

These Detroit announcers are acting like Peavy can't hit 90 anymore or something

If the playoffs started now, who do you have pitching game 1 of the postseason? Danks, Sale, or Peavy?

Delmon goes down the line for a two run homer.

3-2 Sox.

That was a big jack.

Quality Jinx.

WTF was that Delmon Young? Lightly made contact on a ball in the dirt, and it's a homer? HUH!?

3-2 HR DY

From a psychological standpoint, it was definitely worth it.....OOOPS

And, there goes that idea.

In there one batter too long.

He got through Cabrera and Fielder but not Young.

Sinking fastball that didn't get down far enough.

Butt-puckering time again...no relaxing.

Nice Job Jake. Hellava ballgame.

Quality Jinx.

At least he got through 6 this year!

dag gummit

Ventura goes out and gets Peavy, he is done.

6.2 IP, 2 hits, 2 ER, 1 BB, 8 K's.

Ohman is in.

The walk was the bad thing about this inning.

By the end of the season, it will be Sale hopefully.

But this game's way far from done. That Tigers' line-up is way too dangerous, 1-9.

Please don't tell me you wanted him replaced before Young came up....

Ewww Will Ohman.

His name is Oh, man for a reason.

Peavy was definitely getting his swagger back. I hope that HR does nothing to effect his confidence next start (and I don't think it will)

Delmon Young is so mysterious. 95% of the time he sucks, the other 5% of the time, he looks great.
