So, what is the longest consecutive scoreless inning streak by a pitching staff?

This will be my jinx question of the gamethread.

too bad johnny danks pitched between humber, and peavy/floyd...

Morel with a terrible approach against this pitcher. Of all guys, you'd think Morel would be able to hit him to right.

56- Pittsburgh (06-01-1903 to 06-09-1903)

AL record is 54 for Baltimore

oh forgot about danks! yikes

Nice hang time by Beckham on that swing. 1st and 3rd them ADA

I don't know if it is the camera angle or what...but it seems like a lot of line drives are hit hard there, but nearly all of them are caught. (Mostly last night)

This Milone's control and ability to grab that first pitch strike bodes well for a successful career in this league. He's been pretty impressive.

I have him blocked from my mind.

Anyone know what the batting average has been for our 2nd spot in the order this year?

I can't help but have this feeling that Matt Thornton is going to end up ruining this game. Some way, some how, he will be blamed.

$9 for all upper deck, and $27 for all lower deck this Thursday for Humber vs. Red Sox? Hell, if I was back at home I would totally go.

This game is winnable, but Sox bats are dead tonite.

I choose Crain as the goat.

This is the game we steal with our sick bullpen. BOOK IT!

You think Crain will be the Greatest Of All Time? That's awfully bold of you, Greg.

It's Paulie or nothing tonight.

Bad at bat Rios.

This guy probably thought, hell he aint getting the 400 off me. Chyea.

Meh, he's been throwing first pitch strike all night and Rios didn't miss that by a whole lot. This is one of those soft-tossing lefties that I don't think has been making us look stupid as they often do, I think he's just throwing exceptionally well.

Keep trying to pull that outside pitch boys. Pathetic by Alexei after he had such a nice approach last time.

The feels like a Bulls/Pistons game (current)

He really is. Give credit where credit is due. Let's hope we can somehow break through and find a way to win this one!
