Already written Beckham off as a lost cause. I think biggest problem facing the Sox right now is Danks. Been awhile sine he's pitched like a $65M pitcher on a consistent basis.

They need to bat above .220 for me to even care how they play defense. It seems unlikely at this point that both can do that. Maybe we can live with Lilli being our second baseman and if we're still in it at the deadline, make a run for a third baseman. The opposite possibly true as well.

If Gordon can hit a ball as lightly as Viciedo hit his...in the exact same spot. We're looking at a run here. I know Gordon can do it.
