TOUGH pitch to take. Glad we got the call. This guy can't be happy throwing to a lefty now.

Yeah well thats pretty much game

Another great pitch to hit. Man do we suck with the bases loaded this year.

Damn!

make up for all the bad pitch calls you made tonight, AJ

man, I never realized it was an acronym, and I've been around here for a while. I always thought it was a running joke when Buehrle got lit up that they were saying that he was pitching like a minor leaguer.

Yea, it was an argument between a lot of posters about him being the Sox ace. Some people felt he was, those that didn't created that acronym for when he got tattooed by some of those high OBP teams that looked at a lot of pitches.

Our approach with men on reeks of "extra base hit"

I'd much rather have it be "single" so we actually get some runs

"The continuous fall of Mark Buehrle" thread or whatever it was called that used to get bumped every season... :lolhitting

John Danks sure can be easily mistaken for Mike Hampton in a Colorado Rockies uniform, right after that 7/112 he signed way back when. His numbers sure are similar...

Jones has some unreal stuff. It's not hard to see why we kept trying to make him a starter.

Can Hampton play 3rd base?

One of the greatest threads of all-time from 2004. Since it was posted the guy has another 110ish wins, including a perfect game and a no hitter.

yeah your not hitting that 98MPH fastball

I like this kid. The best part is that he hasn't even put it all together just yet

But Hawk said Duncan was one of the best fastball hitters in baseball...

Thanks to whomever mocked Cleveland the other night after the game one win.

That was real smart.

Yes I believe in jinxes.

Sox owned the final two games of series.

Good job Nate
