Gameday Thread-Doubleheader Special: White Sox vs Indians

Featured Replies

It's not easy to match that 4th of July doubleheader at home vs. the Twins a few years ago. It was like a 20-12 & 12-0 sweep by the Twinkies.

I was there...it was fun bad

A contribution from Alexei...would be nice to get him going.

At least Alexei Ramirez is still alive.

Another basehit from sort of being back in this game. That'll work.

The problem is there's almost no chance that Quintana will keep the lead at 3 or 4.

Make it a 2-run game, Fuke

I sat thru the entire 19-0 loss to the Angels. Danny Wright's start.

Be nice to get them to use their good relievers in game 1

BTW, how did Quintana's stuff look?

GB with RISP worthless.

Ah Gordon, the dreaded 93 mph+ fastball. I hope he solves it one of these days.

clutch

Cleveland will get the 2 runs back in no time.

This game is not out of reach for as bad as its been.

You can say the same with Viciedo. It's scary how we saw the same thing basically force Fields out of the majors.

There was another home game in there for Garcia or Colon against the Twins that was like 20 something to 1 or 2.

That was my last White Sox home game. Must have been 2009.

Quintana has never pitched above A ball coming into this season, FWIW.

I don't know how the hell Humber managed a 1-2-3 first inning...

Quintana with nice inning. Let's get a few more back.

Shows how bare KW has made the Sox minor league system.

Nice job that inning.

89-91 MPH fastball, but I'm on GameDay.

Well, can't argue with the results so far after that initial jitteryness.

Keep us within a crooked number of getting right back in it.

In many ways, he has less experience than anyone on our roster. This year is the first time he's ever been above A ball, amazingly.

It was Colon. I remember that game vividly...Colon vs. Blackburn.

Jimmy Gobble factored in that game pretty hardcore as well.

Now I remember. That was the 1st time early in the season that all the Peavy trade rumors were flying around Chicago.

That day the story broke in the Chicago media and then ended up being a disappointment with no trade as Peavy declined.

Lillibridge should at least swing at strikes

Lillibridge should at least swing at strikes

Against RHP, he will swing at sliders 2 or 3 feet off the plate.

lets get the hat trick out of the way

Would be a good time for Paulie to crank one.
