We're going to need to see him get back on track soon...no day better than today. A Thornton-ish Thornton and a normal Jesse Crain along with the young guys Jones-Reed makes for a hell of a good back end of bullpen.

Crain has looked pretty good in his two innings since coming back...albeit mop-up duty for both.

His fastball on the radar gun is sitting 0.1 mph below where it did in 2008. He's right where he should be on velocity. Seriously.

 

If you were seeing a real difference it's either because of the quality of radar gun or in your head.
