Huge out. One more!

Good outing. Gave us a chance to win. Your game now, bullpen/offense.

Holy crap.

Great game kid, hit the showers.

Now it's up to Zach. Not a horrible outing at all by Quintana.

Who is Quintana? How did we get him? Thanx.

kind of a miracle we're still ahead in this game...

AJ has to do a better job blocking those pitches. Sometimes he gets lazy and tries to use his glove instead of moving with his body.

Kenny Williams and Don Cooper might have found another talented steal.

At the risk of sounding critical, doesn't Viciedo just have to start taking some walks?

I mean I do love the guy and realize he's hot, but he hacks at almost every single pitch. Once in a blue moon he lets a high fastball be. But not often.

Great effort by Q tonight

Can someone describe Quintana's last out? I left the room for a sec and missed it

In all fairness, Quintana was all over the place and AJP can hardly be faulted. s*** happens.

If a guy like Dewayne Wise can stay in the big leagues for ten years despite never taking nine walks a year, I think Dayan will be fine.

I think over time, our best hope is that he just take a few more walks per month. To require a total overhaul of him is probably asking a lot.

If he slugs, he's worth it. If he doesn't, he's not.

The D.A. is great.

Yeah, but I want to win games with Dayan and have him be an impact player.

As much as I love Wise, his "impact" on winning was very minimal.

Nice post. I think you are probably correct.

Personally I hate to see guys never walk. It's kind of maddening no matter how good the player is.

Gordon needs to turn off the home run swing.

Beckham a little tardy with his swing tonight

Guess we were f***ed either way on that play.

He will take some more walks eventually. He grew into that in the minors, it'll take time here. Plus, it will help when pitchers start becoming really scared of him.

Looks like Q to start inning

Mercy. Just missed that

Riding the snake with Quintana I see

Getting an extra inning out of Q will be huge.

Gutsy outing for Quintana.
