They hate every team that's not the Cardinals. They particularly hate the Sox because they're a Chicago team, just not quite as much as the Cubs.

I've definitely forged many "shaky alliances" with Cardinal fans out of our mutual hate of the Cubs

But they love the Sox when they're playing the Cubs.
