Joe West can just call a balk everytime he's the first base umpire against the Sox and nothing will ever happen to him...it just ain't right.

You'd almost swear that West did that intentionally to test Selig's nearly blanket protection of the umpires.

West has a hard on to call Sox LHP for balks.................he does not do this against other teams.

He gave up 6 runs, 2 earned in one inning

Notwithstanding the issues evaluating a player on his first big league starts, there's a huge sample size issue with the argument you're trying to make.
