Well, that definitely makes that steal attempt look worse.

Rios with a triple!

  • Author

Wow Alex Rios is a beast!

Man how did Rios launch it that far?

Oh Tito...

??? This is the first time I've listened to a Dodgers broadcast.

En fuego for Rios.

5th triple of the season.

Yeah, agreed.

I would not have done that with Alex on fire, but I would have been ticked had we gidp too.

Yeah, if Rios wasn't on fire, I would have been fine with the move. The big issue is it seems so many hitters get distracted when the runner is in motion.

Mercy Rios!

It seems as though he heard your request the other night.

If Paul Konerko gets distracted by a runner in motion I think we'd have figured that out.

Ventura just needed to be reminded that Rios is using an aluminum bat right now

Lets see if Humber can hold it

Yup, LA also could have pitched around him as well, but didn't.

Then again, I just don't think Beckham's a good base stealer, either.

He's too skilled to be trying to flip the ball to right field. Similar to Morel, you just want to see Rios swing hard and try to pull the ball/go up the middle.

In that situation, you're not trying to get a good jump and steal the base. You have to make sure pitcher delivers it to home, similar to hit and run.

It has brought me great joy to see him turn his career back around.

Humber cant get the pitcher out

Ugh, here we go again.

so Billingsley responds with a hit of his own

Too early to bring in Nate Jones :) Humber's stuff is pretty terrible tonight

Humber was playing with fire the last couple innings.

What's with AJ throwing his bat in the dugout -- twice?
