Crazy that in the same season as pitching a perfect game, Humber will likely be DL'ed, sent down or DFA'ed.

I wonder if Dylan Axelrod is starting to feel all tingly yet.

Phil is just dejected right now. Someone needs to actually coach him.

You're a real winner Phil...

Laughing now Jake when I said statistically Humber was one of the worst pitchers in baseball?

He can't be sent down, he'd be released.

Send him to the bullpen for now. Axelrod is a better fit for the rotation than Humber right now.

well they got back those runs quick.

Can someone wake up our manager?

Tie ballgame.

Humbelievable.

Oh god there was not one time this season that humber deserved to be on a fantasy roster.

I'm thinking he was OK from the get-go til the perfect game.

Okay AJ go talk to him and then Robin go talk to him. Don't let him see any more batters. Something is up

Great thing we cost ourselves 2 runs in the top of the inning most likely.

Why in the world would you even think he'd be DFA'd?
It's worth wondering how long they'd keep him in the bullpen if he came out for a few weeks and continued to be this ineffective.

And still not really anywhere close to fantasy material. Unless your league has 12 teams with like 20 pitchers each.

But we already got a meatball long relief guy in Zach.

Dodgers really abusing the Sox. I'm smelling a sweep the wrong way. They are good n hungry.

Can Santiago go multiple innings?

QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 17, 2012 -> 11:15 AM)
Problem isn't just control, it's that his stuff is fairly mediocre in general.

For example, that 2-0 fastball he threw to Billingsley (a pretty good hitting pitcher) was 88 mph and right over the middle, get me over, BP type of stuff.

Wherever AJ's putting the glove, the ball's going to the opposite side.

All six of the Dodgers' hits have been on fastballs.

Kudos to Ventura for trying Santiago as the long man instead of Stewart.

Stewart's roster spot would clearly be needed by a replacement starting pitcher.

Good job Humber. Only limited them to 4 runs.

Wtf do you want him to do fathom? Santiago is up throwing, he has been since the third run came in. Do you want Ventura to throw things? Get tossed out?

I predict he'll be put on the DL.

We don't need any more long relievers who suck.

I see nothing wrong with letting Alex Rios pitch the rest of this one.
