Yes

He acted like he just missed it, as it looked like he shook his head in disgust

Great inning by Santiago

Go Hector!

7 retired in a row by Sox pitching.

Santiago, considering he has a so-so curveball and is learning his screwball/change at the big league level, hasn't been too bad since being removed from the closer's role.

Dumb stolen base attempt caused them to make a double switch.

nice bunt eventhough they failed to make the throw

Hhhmm, I went to see the Sox lose 4-0 last wednesday and he gave up a 2 run bomb in the 9th.

After all that, not the worst of outings for Phil. Even Code Red had a good first inning

I wonder if that was a blown sign by Hudson

That's what Farmer thought.

Yeah he only gave up 4 runs and 9 hits

Exhibit A why Beckham isn't the player we hoped he'd be

Up to Dunn now

Elbert is pretty damn filthy

CanNOT lay off high heat.

It's not just that, but he can't get on top of high fastballs either.

Why does the hit total matter? I could also say he threw 80% scoreless innings. All that matters for these purposes is the run total and the inning total. He may walk away with a win, even

Do those of you who were calling for the Humber hook realize now that Robin made the right move?

Four runs in three innings are not enough to pull your starter.

Pitch around Dunn to get to PK? Can't blame them if they do.

You think he deserves another start?

Couple of hard hit balls at our defenders and a great diving catch by Alexei saved Humber. He did work ahead in the count more.

I'm glad Robin didn't overreact. With a fresh bullpen I would have pulled him, but with the state of the pen you had to at least try to get more out of him -- it worked
