Quintana should have gotten at least 1 hitter. Matchups and bad luck got Reed here.

Bad managing

Could have swept this series.

Thanks White Sox bullpen.

Choked away two leads in this series.

Leading the American League in blown saves.

They also won it yesterday.

Bullpen shouldn't have even been used today.

You also have to love the high fastball pitch selection to Rivera there in a sac fly spot.

Especially when our closer is so god awful

That's a stretch

Ventura took a page from Ozzie there, let the Kid fInish

Call was for a fastball away. Reed missed.

It was a fastball away

I think if anything should be questioned it's why does Quintana get the kids glove treatment?

If the closer can't close, that's a roster issue not a tactical problem.

this smells of Don Cooper telling Ventura what to do

It's a tactical problem when your pitcher has 77 f***ing pitches through 8 innings. SOMETHING WAS WORKING TODAY!

Hopefully Ventura uses some of the starters off the bench here to try and score.

This really sucks.

Pick Addison up, fellas.

Reed can close. He was going to blow a save at some point. Move on and score next inning.

Until one man reaches.

Well, if nothing else, Quintana is proving he's for real.

Since we never can win extra inning games, maybe Ventura should start earning his money and utilizing his bench now.

Still has Konerko and AJ, and Alexei can be used as a pinch-runner.

No. It was over the middle third of the plate up.

I don't mind bringing in Reed if q had thrown 100 pitches...but there is just no need to fix what isn't broken.

Get the f*** out of the kid's way and let him finish it. Over managing.

Not that I want to lose or anything, but if we do, this is on Ventura.
