June 25, 201213 yr Author QUOTE (Brian @ Jun 25, 2012 -> 09:19 AM) Thought they didnt start for like another month. The US qualifying trials for swimming start today, so all the talk is how many events Phelps will qualify for. The track & field qualifications were this past weekend too. But yeah, the actual Olympics begin July 27.
June 25, 201213 yr I'm much more into the team sports than individual sports. I'll be watching mostly basketball and soccer, with a little gymnastics, water polo, and volleyball mixed in. During Winter Olympics, 90% of what I watch is hockey and curling.

I can pretty much watch any of the Summer Olympics. Even the gymnastics are amazing. Winter Olympics bore the hell out of me. I don't get figure skating at all.

I don't get figure skating at all. I'm the opposite. Winter is much more interesting to me with hockey, curling, and yes, women's figure skating (it's what happens when you grow up with an intense figure skating sister). Even throwing on some skiing or freestyle s*** is fun. I just don't have interest in basketball since I'm not into the NBA anyway, and races aren't quite as fun to watch as games or other competitions. I'll watch some women's gymnastics, I'll end up watching swimming because of my wife. Track and field isn't exactly fun to watch either. And no interest in soccer either.

I love the Winter Olympics. Only care about basketball to bet on it. I like wrestling and swimming. I can take or leave the rest. And this is coming from a guy who has never seen snow.

June 26, 201213 yr QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jun 25, 2012 -> 07:01 PM) Edited my post, hope it works. The TV schedule option is helpful
June 26, 201213 yr After the way Chicago got screwed in the Olympics, this is the least I can ever remember caring about them.
June 26, 201213 yr I've never met anyone that likes the Winter Olympics more. The Summer Olympics blow them out of the water.
June 26, 201213 yr QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Jun 26, 2012 -> 12:25 AM) Can't wait to watch table tennis. And f*** Michael Phelps. USA! USA! USA! Edited June 26, 201213 yr by Steve9347
June 26, 201213 yr The Olympics can't come soon enough... Also, count me in as liking the Summer Olympics more than the Winter. But barely. I love them both.
June 26, 201213 yr I love them both as well. OSU got 10 athletes in the games, pretty awesome for them.
June 28, 201213 yr Lochte is in Phelps head, all through the race he was peaking to see where Lochte was and he went all out to beat him.
June 28, 201213 yr Author For all the NHL fans: darren rovell @darrenrovell Head up: Doc Emrick is calling Water Polo for NBC's Olympic coverage.

June 28, 201213 yr Yeah this could be the motivation Phelps needs to really take it to the limit in London. That being said, Lochte is extremely talented and the US is going to get a lot of medals in the pool.
