Ive been watching him for some time(Since we acquired him). I would be happy if he contributed anything to this club in a positive way at some point. I doubt he does.

 

His pitches really arent that good. He doesnt have anything that would fool major league pitchers on a daily basis.

The guy's stuff is damn near indistinguishable from Quintana's, Pedro having a better change and Q having a better cutter. They pitch exactly the same, strategy wise. Pedro got rushed up a year too early. s*** happens, he got roughed up by a very good hitting offensive club in a hitter's park.

 

Wonder if they'll have him get another inning, that's big developmental time for a young guy and I don't think we will want to cook any more bullpen arms.

Boston 8-1 after 4.................no chance in hell tonight guys.

One game. BoSox will be tired tomorrow from all the hitting tonight. :unsure:

 

Maybe give Hector (the Invisible Man) Santiago a few innings?

Jose Quintana will more than likely unravel very soon. I saw him in the Padres organization. This guy is nothing that we dont already have in the minors.

Hernandez wasn't very impressive and should go back to Charlotte tonight, but not exactly the easiest way to break in. You still have to show you belong and he didn't step up.

Time for MLB the Show. Who pitches tomorrow? Someone who isn't a damn rookie? If KW wants to win this thing he'll remedy this situation. Especially if Danks is out for longer than a few weeks.

Both pitchers can make it, but neither can make a bad pitch to power hitters with 2 men on base. One of them has done it twice in 4 innings, the other has hardly done it.
