They can't rely on these kids to win 1-0 games all of the time.

Besides the loss in LA in June, when the last time they were up 1-0 in the 9th and lost?

Hell of a start by Quintana.

With Crawford and Gonzalez up, I think we should leave Quintana in.

Boy, that Royals Sox game I was was an aberration. Quintana is back. He just must have been a little rusty after the All Star Break. He's amazing again.

OK. No heroics. Let's close out this 1-0 win.

Or how bout two in the ninth to take the pressure off?

Nah, Reed is fresh, let him do his job.

And how many complainers on this board were saying that was the Quintana we were going to see this second half. Way too many people look for reasons to complain.

If Quintana was at 90 pitches, I'd say leave him in. At 103 pitches, and stressful innings, I'd go Reed this time.

Yep. No mercy or prisoners, Addison.

Boston biggest crowd of year that is hard to do on a Thursday night!

Tank. Last chance to get a hit in beantown Gordo, make it count

I'd love to see a double here but will settle for a home run

That cost Sox a run.

Not yet it didnt.

unlucky that the ball hopped into the seats for a ground rule double

No pinch hit for Youkilis?

Wish Youk was healthy to PH
