Featured Replies

@CST_soxvan: Initial word is youkilis has slightly tight hamstring.

They should have just said that they were giving him a day to rest.

Hermie is falling apart this year. I can't ever remember the amount of injuries that we have seen this year, in past seasons.

If he's available to PH, I'm not too worried.

He's like Sampson, only instead of his strength being in his hair, it was in his fat.

Youkilis has tightness in left hamstring. Will be ready for Detroit Friday. Could pinch-hit tonight. More to come on http://whitesox.com

Hamstring has been tight since KC. Youkilis said his back is 100 percent.

He needed a day off anyway!

lmfao

Youkilis out with "being content to have gone 5/12 with 3 RBI including an eventual game winning 3 run shot to the monster seats over 3 games against the team that unceremoniously gave him away for free."

Hope he feels better soon.

Get healthy, might have cost us the game tonight with him being out. YOUK

He was apparently available to PH, why on earth isn't he doing so in the top of the 9th, runners on 2nd and 3rd, 2 out?

Y couldn't Youkilis just man up and demand a pinch hit AB instead of just sitting on the bench.

It wouldn't shock me if Ventura decided to keep Escobar in the game for defensive reasons.

Of course he did, that's exactly what I was thinking when it happened. Youkilis pinch hits, then its either him & his tight hamstring or Hudson at 3rd in what may still be a one run game. So you keep Escobar in there for his defense. Escobar didn't live up to his end of the deal.

Which is funny because he is in the best shape of his life. (well.. in a long time)

That's like Ralph, the basketball player.

Cause you don't tell the manager what to do maybe?!
