July 19, 201213 yr QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jul 19, 2012 -> 03:08 PM) Mark Gonzales @MDGonzales Youk tight left hamstring, will be available to PH And looking forward to Detroit series If he's available to PH, I'm not too worried.
July 19, 201213 yr QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jul 19, 2012 -> 03:11 PM) Hermie is falling apart this year. I can't ever remember the amount of injuries that we have seen this year, in past seasons. He's like Sampson, only instead of his strength being in his hair, it was in his fat.
July 19, 201213 yr Author Scott Merkin @scottmerkin Youkilis has tightness in left hamstring. Will be ready for Detroit Friday. Could pinch-hit tonight. More to come on http://whitesox.com
July 19, 201213 yr Author Daryl Van Schouwen @CST_soxvan Hamstring has been tight since KC. Youkilis said his back is 100 percent.
July 19, 201213 yr QUOTE (PorkChopExpress @ Jul 19, 2012 -> 02:31 PM) He's like Sampson, only instead of his strength being in his hair, it was in his fat. lmfao
July 20, 201213 yr Youkilis out with "being content to have gone 5/12 with 3 RBI including an eventual game winning 3 run shot to the monster seats over 3 games against the team that unceremoniously gave him away for free." Hope he feels better soon.
July 20, 201213 yr He was apparently available to PH, why on earth isn't he doing so in the top of the 9th, runners on 2nd and 3rd, 2 out?
July 20, 201213 yr Y couldn't Youkilis just man up and demand a pinch hit AB instead of just sitting on the bench.
July 20, 201213 yr QUOTE (kapzk @ Jul 20, 2012 -> 02:17 AM) Y couldn't Youkilis just man up and demand a pinch hit AB instead of just sitting on the bench. It wouldn't shock me if Ventura decided to keep Escobar in the game for defensive reasons.
July 20, 201213 yr QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 19, 2012 -> 09:25 PM) It wouldn't shock me if Ventura decided to keep Escobar in the game for defensive reasons. Of course he did, that's exactly what I was thinking when it happened. Youkilis pinch hits, then its either him & his tight hamstring or Hudson at 3rd in what may still be a one run game. So you keep Escobar in there for his defense. Escobar didn't live up to his end of the deal.
July 20, 201213 yr QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jul 19, 2012 -> 03:11 PM) Hermie is falling apart this year. I can't ever remember the amount of injuries that we have seen this year, in past seasons. Which is funny because he is in the best shape of his life. (well.. in a long time)
July 20, 201213 yr QUOTE (PorkChopExpress @ Jul 19, 2012 -> 02:31 PM) He's like Sampson, only instead of his strength being in his hair, it was in his fat. That's like Ralph, the basketball player. Samson
July 20, 201213 yr QUOTE (kapzk @ Jul 20, 2012 -> 03:17 AM) Y couldn't Youkilis just man up and demand a pinch hit AB instead of just sitting on the bench. Cause you don't tell the manager what to do maybe?!
