He looks good to me, especially considering how seldom he plays. He usually makes contact.

It's the poster child of a Kenny Wiliams wants. He has been drafting guys who project power and tools but the bat making contact with the ball is not one of the tools. All things being equal he would draft Borchard again.

I don't get all the hatred for Adam Dunn and his deal. You paid the guy to come in, hit home runs drive in RBIs and get a walk. You never should have had the expectation that he was going to hit for AVG or anything like that. Yes, he sucked last season but the guy is a league leader in Home Runs and walks this season. What more do you want from the guy?

I'd like to see him hit over .200 with the White Sox. That's something I'd like from a big time FA who's hitting 3rd in the lineup.

I meant that if Borchard was on the draft board every year. He would keep drafting him over and over because the high power with contact issues is his type of guy. I understand Kenny didn't draft him.

Rios has been playing great all year, not sure what he's done to deserve to be amnestied...

 

Because I have no faith he is going to continue to be an all-star for the duration of his contract. You guys get so high and low on players so quickly. Completely knee-jerk around here. Ask that same question 6 weeks ago and no one would be saying Dunn.

 

Dunn will get better, Rios will get worse. That's just how it's going to happen. And in the end, I think Dunn will be more valuable to us hitting 40 bombs a year than Rios when he normalizes.
