GT: Chicago White Sox @ Detroit Tigers

Featured Replies

Something that has killed the team since the ASB is scoring late in games. Since the KC game right after the ASB, the Sox haven't scored a run from the 7th inning on.

Be my guest.

What's the point of trading someone who has negligible trade value?

Do you want to start Tyler Kuhn or Escobar there? Bring back Lillibridge and start him at 2B?

Caesar, what, if anything do you actually enjoy about the White Sox?

List 3 things.

As far as trading away anyone from our current roster (with the exception of the bullpen)....doesn't make any sense because you're fighting with 5-6-7 teams just for the right to face one of the two best teams in baseball, the Angels and Rangers.

Didn't we sweep the Rangers? For a while there, this team looked like they could contend with anyone.

Humber needs to bucker down and the batting order needs to be shaken up a bit.

Did you change it to sort by ERA or something? By WAR, he is 26th on that list.

Yeah, going by ERA. I've never used WAR for anything.

How do you know Beckham has no trade value?

Miggy is pretty good.

He's amazing. Their 3/4 hitters are ridiculous now.

Of course, we said the same thing in 2003, 2004, 2006, 2010 and now this year.

What else is on? Sox haven't been fun to watch in weeks

Well, there in lies the problem.

I enjoy watching Sale pitch.

I enjoy watching Viciedo develop.

That's about it. Don't enjoy anything else at the moment. But, who does?

My brain is beginning to fry.

Cabrera with his 300th Hr, congrats.

I love watching Quintana pitch

Anyone have our record since 2003 for Pre ASB and Post ASB?

Humber really sucks. KW needs another starter.

It still sad to think that we could have had Fielder or Adrian Gonzalez if we had packaged away Beckham/Daniel Hudson.

Consolation prize; this will be the first time the SOX get swept this year. That has to amount for something, right?

As someone who has largely been watching this season from a neutral baseball viewpoint, they can be really entertaining to watch.

I'm surprised they didn't try to get Gavin back for this start, given his success vs the Tigers. Instead, you have him facing his nemesis tomorrow.

Is it my fault that we have no farm system? Is it my fault our GM trades away prospects and mortgages the future? What's the point of playing and paying someone who only has negligible trade value? This org. needs to be rebuilt from the ground up. I've been saying this for years. This going for it every year isn't working.

Sox would have never signed them to their ridiculous contracts.

Is it surprising that it comes in the most important series of season atm.
