7/26 games

Sox are facing future Cub Allen Webster right now. Webster having control issues.

Walker is 2/3 with a 2B, 2 SB. Batting .313 with 8 SB to 0 CS in 9 games in High-A. This kid is putting together a really great season.

Oh, and Erik Johnson is dominating. 6 scoreless innings so far, 3 H, 1 BB, 7 K

Hopefully the Brewers like Trayce Thompson's June-July power breakout. A Gavin + Trayce Thompson package (maybe another mid-level prospect) might be a really competitive offer for Greinke.

Helluva high-A debut for Kevan Smith. Walker continuing his tear, too.

Castro got shelled tonight. W-S definitely the most intriguing team to follow right now.

I'm pretty sure that's because they're in the playoffs and the Sox wanted to stack the roster/get the prospects some experience.

Walker added another double before he was done. 3/5, 2 2B, 2 SB. Keep swinging it, kid.

Mitchell with a pair of hits tonight but erased on a pick off and caught stealing. Do'oh

Mitchell 2 for 3, 2B, RBI, K...

Hitting .364, doing better in AAA than the last 2 months in BIRM, albeit only 3 games. Encouraging start.

Still don't see Trayce Thompson as a centerpiece of a trade...but would rather take him, Walker or Mitchell than Saladino.

Down goes Simon Castro's trade value. It's amazing what one or two starts can do this week. See Liriano, Francisco.

Out of the three of them as far as the toolsy/upside outfielders not counting Hawkins (Mitchell, Thompson and Walker) he is the one I'd least like to see moved. I think Dan agrees with me too. Kid is putting together his power/speed combo this year and can still take a walk. He is still very raw (hence the K's) but I still like his tool set the most.

Heidenreich had a nice debut for his new team.

8 inn, 5 hits, 1 run, 1 bb, 7 k

I'll be irritated if the PTBNL is Walker, Johnson or Snodgress.

I have a bad feeling it will be Johnson or Snodgress. I'll be happy if it turns out to be Soptic.

Could we really end up shipin then that decent of a prospect (Johnson/Snodgress/Walker) as a PTBNL..? I understand the draft/trade eligibility rules, but I would be very irked too if it turned out to be one of them.
