The Tank

QUOTE (kev211 @ Jul 31, 2012 -> 09:13 PM)
Hawk thought that ball was definitely a hit, and he thought alexei's ball was definitely an out. Wrong on both.

To be perfectly fair, those are extremely hard balls to read off the bat from a broadcaster's angle.

But seriously, Dayan's becoming a good fielder.

This is true, but I would rather have kept him at 3b. Easier to find LF production than 3b these days

QUOTE (iamshack @ Aug 1, 2012 -> 02:13 AM)
Good job, Jesse!

For some reason, I always remembered him burying that slider in the dirt against the Sox when he was going good. Now, that slider seems to be above the belt very frequently.

Whew..........it's amazing how nervous we are against a team 11 back and 14 games under .500.

Speak for yourself.

I hate the f***ing Twins.

I understand. I was just pointing it out, hes usually pretty good except for his warning track fly balls that he thinks are homers.

Ive never seen pitchers give runs back the next inning like this teams pitchers. Tank saves the day for now.

Oh gawwwwwwd! Give me a break.

He's not trusting his oblique enough to follow through

Good observation, he's likely not been close to 100% all year

I wonder if Youks back is bothering him.

Come on Adam. You are f***ing due.

Youk struggling lately...

Twins making a mistake not bringing in the lefty here. Hit a bomb Adam

Right here Dunn. You should be crushing this guy. Prove it.

He's swinging all upper body right now

QUOTE (iamshack @ Jul 31, 2012 -> 09:16 PM)

That's exactly what it is. He's not striding out enough, which prevents him from squaring up, which causes the arm to drag, which causes a different release point, which leaves the ball up.

Pitching is hard.

He's been awful the past 2 or 3 weeks. AVG down over .20 pts.

Ok PK, keep it going

f*** you shift

Beating the shift!!!
