Ok, I would hardly say Beckham looked "slow as hell". They just asked him to score from 1st on a ball that didn't even get past the OFers. It was a terrible send by McEwing.

I could have thrown out Beckham on that play. Pennington could have thrown the ball 10 feet wide, and it would have still been an out.

I guess will have to agree to disagree on this. If he was out by 3 feet, okay ... but the catcher could have dropped the ball, picked it up and still tagged him out.

That was pretty awesome, robbing a HR on a 10 ft wall. Good thing he had the speed to get there soon enough to scale the wall.
