Santiago warming.

We are witnessing the collapse of the 2012 Whitesox. It started friday night. Some things you just cant shake off. Getting swept by the terrible Royals is one of those things. Having a pitcher like Gavin Floyd is another.

One of the worst sends I've ever seen

Again, should have been worse. Suspect AJP's hard tag 'annoys' Cano

2005 has a pretty awful 'collapse' right around this time as well, no time to panic yet.

Gavin is great at stringing together runs in consecutive innings for Sox opponent over and over!

Gavin Floyd WAR by year:

2.5

4.5

4.3

3.6

1.6 (2012)

If it was going to happen, it would have been after losing to the Red Sox in heartbreaking fashion and then getting swept at DET.

They'll be fine...they might not make the playoffs, but the season isn't collapsing yet. We will still have a one game lead going into tmrw, no matter what happens.

And we've scored plenty of runs against Freddy Garcia since he left the Sox.

It's whether Floyd can hold the Yankees down for the next 3-4 innings to let the offense get us back into this one.

DET blew a 5-0 lead in the first inning the other night...playing at home, the Sox tend to score in bunches.

05 we had a huge lead. That KC series was brutal for this team.

No vintage Jeter play?

Rios gets a hit thanks Dunn.

If this team doesnt hit homeruns it doesnt score it seems like. There is no balance offensively.

I like doing that to Freddy instead of watching it happen to Freddy when he was playing for us.

Plus, MOST of our baserunners can run at will against Garcia when they reach.

Rios steals 2nd advances on to third on AJs ground out. Cut this lead in half time.

Man on 3rd with 1 out. Lets see what happens.

That was hit so hard.

Terrible luck.

Bad luck there?

Sox are just screwed right now.
