Anyone who watched the game will realize Ponder played out of his mind, and that combined with the 49ers historically having trouble defensively with a QB who can scramble led to problems. The D was close to making big plays on so many occasions but Ponder would barely escape. I have no doubt Harbaugh will have the boys ready for the Jets.

October 8, 201213 yr Yeah, this is totally natural in the Bills coaching cycle. Mediocre but signs of life in the first full season, a step forward in the second season, and a huge, huge step back in the third season with the coach being fired. They'll probably hire Wannestedt next year and we'll see the same thing again. It's a pain following that team.
