Nice one Robin. Absolutely inexcusable pitching move there. Ventura has choked more than anyone on this team down the stretch. Not only did he not play the match up, but he brought in maybe the worst righty in our pen.

Well that move did not work.

He is looking more clueless as the games go by.

Kipnis literally has an OPS that's .200 points higher against righties.

bad move by Ventura.

I wanted to leave Hector in, honestly

What the hell are these AAA pitchers doing in the middle of a key pennant race game?!?!

This franchise refuses to use any type of statistical analysis to help their cause and it starts with Cooper.

Should have got one more batter. He got screwed by pitch selection more than anything else this inning. He never throws his offspeed pitches for strikes, yet they were calling for it on 3-2 pitches.

tigers about to take the lead!!!!!

He'll walk away when his contract is up. I'm sure of it.

It's insane, it really is. Remember when he was supposed to throw like 98 mph in the minors? He's like 5 mph less than that now.

Would have made more sense to bring Grosso in at that point too. But anyway, in the fourth inning when your starter starts randomly walking people there is hardly time to play matchups

5-4 tiger WTF

The defensive swings to stay alive are somethign the Sox really could work on as opposed to the lazy ground outs.
