Anyone else feeling Giants sweep this thing?

:P

f*** DETROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOIT

This again shows how the Sox losing so many games to Detroit is all mental. That team can't hit a baseball and can't field a baseball and has no bullpen.

NL continues dominance of AL ... interesting.

Oh please, the Tigers were better than the Sox and they were better than the other post season teams in the AL. The Giants beat them with pitching. How often is a staff good enough were a former CY winner is in the pen-who happen to look wicked.

I disagree. The Tigers were on life support 3 different times where the team could beat nobody that didn't wear a White Sox uniform. Sox had chances to put that team away and never could do it. Do you remember the LONG STRETCH where Detroit could beat nobody but the Sox?

There was a stretch between 8/28 and 9/12 where the Tigers went 6 - 9 with 5 of those wins coming against the Sox. The problem is that they went 13 - 7 after that when the Sox couldn't buy a win.

So they went through a bad patch but over 162 games, they were the better team.

But I feel like we were the only reason they were able to stay afloat. The Sox could have buried them in that stretch you mentioned.Sox proved to be their life support and thus the Sox deserve some of their postseason paychecks.

One could argue that the exact opposite was true. The Tigers were the only reason the Sox were in a race for a playoff spot. They should have buried much earlier in the season.
