It is different. Each character has a unique level that you play for them where their skill is needed. The time travelers level almost drove me insane.

I know that you are saying. I knew what I was supposed to do with the rock to roll it out of the way so the well would appear, but I wasnt rolling it far enough up to the right.

The game is really fun though. The twins level I really enjoyed

The Cave is a pretty fun side scroller / puzzle game. By the same guy that did Maniac Mansion and Monkey Island.

I think it was only 10 or 15 bucks to download.

The only thing I didn't like about The Cave is you end up backtracking a lot, and you can interact with puzzles that you're not supposed to be on. Other than that it was pretty fun. I love Double Fine games. Has anyone played Brutal Legend? it's another one of their games coming to Steam soon.

Brutal Legend was fantastic when I played it. If you like metal at all, play it. If you don't, it'll be less fun but still awesome.

So I took my Aliens prepayment and transferred it to The Wonderful 101 and Pikmin 3.

Can't wait until May /much more subdued Kyle

The PS4 is being announced right now.

Ill probably pick one up and then turn my ps3 into netflix/blue ray. I really dont want to drive my PS3 into the ground because its reverse compatible.

The share button sounds really cool. I'm especially curious about what Microsoft has in store because there's a lot of innovative ideas with the PS4. We could end up with three totally different consoles as opposed to some of them being more or less the same as we've seen in the past.

The directions they are traveling are certainly not the same anymore

I'm not terribly interested in a new console right now given the amount of use I can still get out of my PS3, but some of those features/games look really good.

I still don't feel like last gen peaked, but a new inFamous and Watch Dogs? Sign me up.

If they announce Jak 4 or Kingdom Hearts 3...launch day buy.

I do wish they just stayed with the Dualshock though. No need to reinvent the wheel.

OMG Watchdogs. The s*** you can do and the fact that it's in Chicago. My only worry is that my expectations are way too high for it.

If Watch Dogs lives up the potential, we're talking one of the best games ever.

Go watch the PS4 demo they played. Holy f***.

I also love The L in game. Adds such an odd dynamic to games that's familiar to Chicagoans.

Agree. I'm still not sure it looks like Chicago other than that, but I really don't care because of how good everything looks. The free running reminded me of AC3 with the programmed fluid movement to jump a fence or something.

Same. It reminded me a LOT of Assassins Creed.

The architecture was definitely Chicago though. The city looks familiar to me in game. I bet the landmarks will be in there.

Yes, I am anticipating the ps4 due to new games as well.

I was just playing Crysis 3 and my PS3 got louder than ever before trying to play that game. I think one of the cut scenes nearly melted it. That sure sounds like hardware peaking to me.

Is it a slim or and old fat PS3?

Slim.

AC4 trailer looks pretty awesome. Dude looks waaaay better than Connor.

I didn't care much for Connor so I'm glad he was a one-off. Interesting that his last name seems to be Kenway though.

I hope there are more combat on boats missions. The Boston Tea Party mission was the best from AC3. I'm still trying to full synch one of the privateer missions so I hope they modify the naval missions, or at least don't add too many more.

The video card on the PS3 is like 6 generations old. The hardware peaked a long time ago, even for console standards.

The detail you see in a PS3 game and a PC game is just not the same. You just don't notice it as much on PS3 because you play from farther away.

From the trailer, it looks like there will be a lot more naval battles.

Also, the protagonist is Haytham's father. Interesting.

Anybody pre-order the Show? I have both the Vita and PS3 copies coming on Tuesday.
