How are the controls? I saw it in the App Store and was certainly curious.

I'll expand on what I posted. They WORK. I don't even think twice about them anymore. I enjoyed blowing up some baddies with an ice cream truck yesterday - I forgot how FUN GTA 3 was, given how kinda unfun GTA IV was on ps3. I hear they are bringing back the comedy for 5.

I don't buy used games either, though I frequently sell back games I've played. That said, I'd happily see Gamestop rot. That place has screwed me over a couple times and I don't really care for the used games market as a business. As others mentioned some games already have activation codes as is anyway. This is just the next step.

500 MB/s internet will come soon enough, after all, Google's Fiber service is 128 MB/s.

Assassin's Creed III was available as a digital download on release day. I didn't download it, but it had to be north of 20 GB. Huge games are already available digitally. I expect this upcoming generation of consoles to play heavier into that.

It looks awesome but I've never been able to get into playing Pokemon on ROMS. I prefer having the handheld console for some reason. My 3DS XL is fantastic.

So we are looking at hard drives that need to upwards of 1TB for gaming consoles.

I was actually going to post that id guess the next generation consoles are 500gb+. It wouldnt surprise me if 1tb was the middle and that the high end were 1.5-2.

Hint: You get a starter from the first three generations pretty quickly, so while I normally had a Charmander, I got a Squirtle to go with my Cyndaquil and Treecko.

 

Best part is there are cutscenes and such and your character actually talks. It's a really well made ROM.

Essentially glorified PC's at that point. Which isnt surprising.

It is a cool ROM. Played it for like 25 min and my Squirtle got to level 14.
