2013-2014 NFL Thread

This is a game where IMO the defense was brilliantly schemed and the lack of talent by the defensive players continually sabotaged them. We haven't been this schematically prepared for an opponent in a long time but it apparently won't matter

Lol. It's the players not the scheme.

apparently thought it was a rule that wr's can't run past first down markers on fourth down

These 2 posts don't fit together to me?

at least we have a shot.. at the 40, with 30 secs

Well Hester cut the field down a little.

there's no scheme or play that would call for letting a WR run open down the field

If the Bears put up 28 points this half I'll call them winning it.

I got the right number 2 hours ago, the Bears needed 28 points this half.

Good try, go for it 3 more times

welp

Well, time for a lot of players/coaches to be shown the door.

ok please fire conte, podlesh and tucker right now please

Lol. Nice job defense.

A very "meh" day by the offense, a flukey and dumb play by the D, and a frustrating final drive by GB and there's your ballgame

Jay Cutler's career in Chicago finishes up 1-8 against the Packers.

Time to fire some people to feel better.

welp

Something ironic about the strong-armed QB not even being able to reach the end zone there. He played a strong game though, no real complaints with Cutler.

Don't forget the bulls*** penalty on Shea that gave the Packers 3 points.

Tucker will have a very compelling case for his job as he shows how well he called this game and had his players completely let him down.

You know what though, offense didn't do enough either. 28 points was never supposed to be enough in this one

This is a game your QB is supposed to get you. We didn't have a QB that could get us a win like this, at least not on the field

You thought that was a good defensive game? They gave up 475 yards and couldn't get the Packers off the field.

different s***, same story. Packers beat the Bears again to knock them out of playoffs.

Oh I'm sure McCown would have put up 40+ on them!

I don't think anyone can b**** about Cutler's play in this game. He wasn't great in the first half, but he played a hell of a game in the second half. He made no mistakes until that last pick, which you can't fault him for since all he could do is throw it up in that situation.
