The guy that had the ball wasn't their best FT shooter. The Davidson guy was wide open and it would have taken 2-3 seconds for Marquette to catch up to him and foul, but the pass was too far out front. Think wide open WR 30 yards down the field behind the D and the QB overthrows him by 10 yards.
