Innings like that--that's the difference between winning and losing in a lot of games.

This team is short on talent. Way short.

I don't think it's a talent issue, I think the lineup is simply constructed wrong. Dunn should be batting 5th, Viciedo 6th, Gillespie 7th, Flowers, & Ramirez 9th.

No surprise, as we're next to last in the league at hitting with RISP, less than 2 outs. At a stellar .133 (6 for 45) before tonight.

Span another hit.

If I were the Nationals I'd be running on Axelrod all night.

I don't know if anything will work, but that would be a good start.

This team looks pretty brutal so far.

Second time through, they are gonna destroy Axelrod. Harper is gonna hit one out of the ballpark completely the junk Dylan's throwing up there.

and Flowers

Seems like everytime Sox blow a scoring opp the opponents score next inning.

Wow, a hit, with RISP, less than 2 outs? How do you do that? And why exactly do you give Harper something to hit first pitch. So stupid.

I would kill my teammates if I was Rios

We definitely need Viciedo & Flowers to hit better for starters. If that doesn't happen, we can write this season goodbye. Still way too early to give up on either of them.

Zimmerman is due. Hate to say it.

If Sox played Nats 20 times they would be lucky to win 5 games.

Lipstick on a very ugly pig.

Hector says Axelrod who? This guy is who you chose over me?

Axelrod not getting one boarderline call tonight.

I think your lineup is always seriously flawed when you have one third of it as automatic outs. I just cannot wait until Dunn is gone. It would also help if one day our pitchers throw less than 90 pitches to get through 4 innings.

This is all on Robin. Dylan Axelrod is NOT a Major League pitcher. Hector Santiago should have been the #5 starter since the beginning. His ignorance and stubbornness is going to cost the team another win.

Robin has been outmanaged the whole series.

The National announcers think Don Cooper is at the mound right now. They are so much worse than Hawk/Stone its not even funny.

Can we throw a strike?

Weren't we the last team in MLB to be swept last year?

I think it's more Cooper than Robin. I think Cooper loves having Santiago's versatility in the bullpen.

Good situation brewing here, Desmond up with em loaded.

That was Rick Vaughn bad
