Seriously? Man, not a good start for the middle IF's.

Tyler Greene? Why not Carlos Sanchez? Do they seem him as a viable prospect still?

They're not calling up a viable prospect to play once a week.

Um, yes?? You think that has changed in 3 weeks?? No reason to bring him up to sit the bench

So the answer is yes, they still see him as a viable prospect. Because I don't.

So is he really hurt, or are they just trying to bury him for a roster spot.

Why would they want to call Tyler Green up?

If Ventura doesn't want to play Sanchez.

Good question.

I don't know who Angel Sanchez is and didn't even realize he was on the MLB roster. :huh

Same here. Who is Tyler Green? Young? Old? Good prospect?

Not a prospect he's 30 years old.

Typical utility man can play 2B/SS/3B, was with Astros and Cardinals last few years, not much to talk about as a hitter.

Former first-round pick of the Braves out of Georgia Tech.

Can't hit a lick -- .292 OBP in nearly 700 career big-league plate appearances.

but I'm betting that at some point Baseball America rated him one of the Braves' top prospects.

he's rule 5 we can give him back but he can field . If you're good at fielding how is that going to help. I've sat for a long time once or twice and my lower back hurts sometimes too.

Assume you're referring to Angel Sanchez.

I doubt his upside is so high (especially offensively) that we can afford to keep a younger version of Ray Olmedo on the 25 man roster for the entire year.

Plus, we already have Carlos Sanchez, Saladino, DiMichele and some other fairly legit infield prospects.

We had another incarnation of Sanchez in Eduardo Escobar and we traded him away. It's not a high priority at the moment.
