On the radio yesterday, they were saying how much better he swings when he goes after the first pitch.

Alexei's been hitting very well already. .325 on the season, .857 OPS. Much hotter than his usual first 2 weeks of April.

DJ and Farmer pointing out that DeAza's not trusting his hands at all and not able to time fastballs yet this season...that he pretty much accidentally ran into that one.

 

Well, we'll take anything we can get at this point.

He's been great, but with this losing streak, nothing will surprise me.
