No idea why Dunn is playing tonight. He can't hit a straight 90 mph fastball right now, so a moving knuckler would be even more difficult for him.

1-32 with 11 strikeouts on the road trip for Dunn with only 2 walks

So let me see if I have this right....Dunn can't hit a slow fastball, can't hit a normal fastball, can't hit a hard fastball, can't hit a knuckleball..

Right now I'd rather see Jake Peavy bat than Dunn.

This hearkens back to the debate a couple of seasons ago to benching Dunn for Lillibridge or possibly Viciedo...back when the Stealth Elf was a dangerous offensive threat for 2+ months.

 

I'll believe it when I see Danks, Gimenez or Wise getting AB's over Dunn.

Just bench him for 2 games and hope the mental break helps him out. This game is too similar to so many others from this year with bad defense.
