I'm surprised he was even in the vicinity of that ball. It came off the bat weird as hell. He got the glove on it, so he should have caught it, but that was far from an easy play. It wasn't a bad pitch either. It was a great piece of hitting.

Until Sox can go more than 1 game in a row not giving a team 4 outs in a inning they will stay in last place.

My initial reaction on that play was that I was impressed he even read the ball well enough to be in the area. That ball had some crazy top spin. It was a hard catch to make.
