Game Thread 5/20: BOS @ SOX

Sanchez is a little better than Greene as a SS, but Greene is no stranger to that position, and everything I have read makes him average there, so for a back up who can hit lefties, Greene would be my choice.

Isn't Greene still under team control though? The Sox always seem to favor keeping the guy that they can't cut, which would be Sanchez.

We need people to get outs. Aside from Reed and Crain, no one is pitching well enough to have a lot of trust in them.

Thornton had been pitching real well

You would have to be stupid to put Santiago in the pen over Axelrod. Sox will probably do it.

I'm pretty sure Sox would have to DFA Greene

How long before rain?

I wish they could DFA Keppinger, but Greene is going to be a victim of the numbers game when Gordon comes back.

Have to hope the isn't the game Crain crashes back to the mean

Hopefully Reed has a save by then.

I wonder if they would ever change rules that say if the teams meet again the next day, all games are suspended. But if it's the last game they meet in a series, then any lead after 5 is official.
