I think Gavin Floyd could have thrown out Wise at home. We'll take it!

Man Pierre was playing so shallow too. How embarrassing.

That was worse than Pods not throwing out Chris Burke at home to end game 2 of the WS.

Good thing that play wasn't close at home with you know who behind the plate.

Is there any part of you that thinks it was stupid to send him home with no out?

Jake! Conor!

Not with Pierre in LF

If it was anyone besides Pierre...yes. You run on that cannon 100 out of 100 times.

Definitely.

Throw's on line, he's out.

Then all the momentum is gone...

I believe he's going to be suspended before this season is done

Jenks made up for it in Game 4 (with a little help from Uribe, lol).

What are the odds of Pierre being able to make a strong accurate throw?

Nah. Still would've had runner at 2b with 1 out

And if it was anyone else, they would have held Wise.

my god this offense is pathetic

At this point, just take the wins and hope they come around.

.500 tomorrow.

26-14 until July 9.

The fact that we had to win on walk-offs against the Marlins is somewhat sad. But style points don't matter!

Only issue is that it doesn't look like Wise anticipated getting sent home.

They're still a long ways from matching up with DET and CLE offensively.

The starting pitching has to be complemented by SOMEONE besides Reed and Crain in the bullpen.

However, one certainty, the defense simply HAS to improve with Beckham back, there's that at least.

And the catching position. DET can afford to have Avila struggling there with Cabrera slated for 100 RBI's before the All-Star game.

Forget about Detroit. Sox will never catch them. We're going for 88-89 wins and hopefully a wildcard spot.

49-38 by July 8.

Should be beating this team worse need a :sweep:

Yep, which is why it was funny when Hawk was cheering on the Indians against the Tigers.

Been watching the Blackhawks tonight finally get their act together, hopefully not too late. But nice for the Sox to win another game they are supposed to win. Kepp continues to hit a bit; Gillaspie continues to stroke base hits. Peavy!

Very nice to get a walkoff win at home. Sox don't get many of those. Keep it rollin, White Sox.
