July 31, 201312 yr QUOTE (Marty34 @ Jul 30, 2013 -> 07:23 PM) The conspiracist in me says MLB didn't want any trades announced today, preferring to save them for the show tomorrow. ya know...I buy that theory.
July 31, 201312 yr QUOTE (Wanne @ Jul 30, 2013 -> 07:24 PM) ya know...I buy that theory. Is it me or has a lot of trades, free-agent signings, etc... broken around the time MLB network's MLB Tonight show airs the last couple of years?
July 31, 201312 yr But word of trades would break out before tomorrow anyway so whats the rub for MLB?
July 31, 201312 yr anyone know where you can stream this channel online? http://wapc.mlb.com/play/?topic_id=5537235...ent_id=29136035

July 31, 201312 yr The mlb.com trade deadline special is not the same thing as the MLB Network special. The online version is the same 1-hour loop over and over again and has not covered any actual trades or rumors from today. Anybody watching the actual MLBN special? They saying anything interesting?
July 31, 201312 yr QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Jul 31, 2013 -> 01:57 PM) The mlb.com trade deadline special is not the same thing as the MLB Network special. The online version is the same 1-hour loop over and over again and has not covered any actual trades or rumors from today. Anybody watching the actual MLBN special? They saying anything interesting? Not really. Nothing different. They are discussing the same players & teams that are being discussed on Twitter already. it's good insight, but nothing new.
July 31, 201312 yr QUOTE (knightni @ Jul 31, 2013 -> 03:19 PM) I don't think the Sox are going to trade anyone else unless it's a waiver deal. I'm still going to be surprised if Lindstrom isn't moved.
July 31, 201312 yr QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jul 31, 2013 -> 02:29 PM) I'm still going to be surprised if Lindstrom isn't moved. I am really surprised he is still here. I figured he would be gone for sure.
July 31, 201312 yr QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jul 31, 2013 -> 02:29 PM) I'm still going to be surprised if Lindstrom isn't moved. I think he'll be gone eventually, but maybe next month. He's not exactly a "must have" guy, and his last couple outings have been pretty brutal after a really good stretch.
July 31, 201312 yr QUOTE (bbilek1 @ Jul 31, 2013 -> 02:40 PM) Between this special and the draft special MLBN pays Harold Reynolds to talk about s*** he barely understands. I'm not watching this, but you could get the same quality of his work on the draft by picking a random Jimmy John's employee to sit in his chair.
July 31, 201312 yr QUOTE (knightni @ Jul 31, 2013 -> 02:43 PM) Houston sends Bud to Baltimore for Hoes. ...um

July 31, 201312 yr QUOTE (JPN366 @ Jul 31, 2013 -> 02:50 PM) Hamsterdam threw in a Hader. So that's some Bud for Hoes and a Hader. So who's getting the better deal? Personally I take some Bud over Hoes any day of the week.
