8.18 Sox vs Twins

What day did Thome rejoin the organization?...Around the same time Dunn started to take off?

Wonder if they have been talking about hitting/approach.

Both very similar hitters.

Sox hired Thome July 2nd, most say Dunn's hitting better started around 1st week or 2nd week of June.

Lol wow. That was an athletic play by Santiago. Good throw by Phegley.

Not many pitchers in baseball as athletic as Hector.

Twins announcers were praising the play.

real solid AB for Phegley

Anybody else think that was an extremely lazy play by Willingham? I thought he could of held Phegley to a.single.

He is not running well due to an injury.

Pheg's has been having better at bats as late, which is good, as this would be the point in time where you'd start to see him make his adjustments and give the scouts early returns on what his potential might be.

To answer Hawk's question, a 93 mph fastball is 1.75 feet ahead of a 90 mph fastball by the time it reaches the plate.

HR Alexei have a day #10.

MY GOODNESS!!!!

Get the triple.

Agreed, I will be happy if he can develop into a solid 1.5-2WAR regular something along the lines of Jason LaRue.

Another 2b for Garcia.

:)

Surprised that wasn't a triple.

Another great at bat by Garcia.

I would really like to see the sox change their OF alignment to De Aza, Garcia, Viciedo

It's been amazing how Alexei has changed his approach since moving in the line up.

Hawk and Wimpy is such a better broadcast than Hawk and Stone

Barring trades, I wonder if they won't try this next spring.

Wimpy is awesome. Hope he stays put. He makes Hawks less of a homer

When Hawk and Stone are together, Hawk is a caricature and Stone is as dry as sandpaper.

Hawk and Wimpy are magical together.

Hopefully we get to see Petricka today

I'd think we'd almost have to with Santiago at 105 pitches after 5.
