He doesn't want to do 40 one on one interviews. This happens a lot on BIG STORIES and Paulie giving the end of season update on his status is a pretty big story. Blame the media for putting it on the radio; Paulie and the Sox didn't ask for that.
September 27, 201312 yr White Sox general manager Rick Hahn said Friday that the club will meet with Paul Konerko in two weeks to discuss his future. Previous reports indicated that Konerko could come to some sort of decision this weekend, but he apparently wants to hear the team's plan for the future before making it final. For what it's worth, Hahn said they plan to spend money to acquire an impact free agent this winter. Per Rotoworld
