Terrible break on the ball by Dayan but got lucky with bad base running.

Well, he shouldn't even be playing out there. He's used to LF now. Why DeAza's playing against Chen, no idea. Guess it's a "teachable moment" for Avisail and Ventura.

Danks has completely lost his command now. Another impact of the surgery.

Come on Danks

Walks are a huge problem so far.

Have our 3, 4, 5 starters and bullpen thrown more balls than strikes so far this season? Genuine question

I sure hope it's not a genuine question. Danks is at 45/27 right now.

Nice play by Conor...but Abreu's defense has been just abysmal so far.

Good thing Gillaspie scooped that throw or it was Keystone Kops time. Is Eaton's arm worse than Johnny Damon or was that an anomaly? Don't know much about him.

Nice low fastball.

Seems like he's throwing change-ups 90% of the time. Second time through the order, and KC is no longer fooled.

In other words, he's our version of CC Sabathia...just a bit cheaper.

Pretty swing

Eaton has a very strong arm that is very inconsistent.

Not actually genuine but close enough to genuine to be incredibly frustrating

Nice low fastball.

Change up

35 pitches in fourth. Lucky our bullpen is great.

Need some runs

Nice ob of limiting the damage. He used his fastball more at the end there.

Danks threw a ton of pitches there, lucky the score's not 4 or 5 to 0.

Still a game. For now.

Could have been a lot worse. I know it's impossible to rattle the best but hopefully the long Time in the dug out messes with Chen.

Good- he got out of it.

Bad- 77 pitches through 4 + tired bullpen + bad bullpen = 9 runs allowed (minimum)

Good. I didn't want a Damon out there.

16, 11, 12, 35.... Danks pitches by inning. One doesn't belong.

Last year I wouldn't have cared about limiting the damage there. This year, it could be big.

He's more Aaron Rowand than Damon/Pods/Pierre in terms of arm strength. Inconsistent/erratic.

I guess that's our only hope to ever beat Chen.

11 is a prime number.
