Going to cry if this isa 1-2-3 inning.

Looks like you're free.

The key to only losing 88-90 games this season is winning series against the Cleveland's, Minnesota's, Yankees, Baltimore's of the world and some of those NL teams. We're simply not going to beat the good teams like KC, Detroit, just about everybody in the East.

I wouldn't be so sure about Cleveland and the Yankees being down.

We should be competitive with Houston and Seattle again. We never play well against the Blue Jays or Orioles.

We were 2-17 against the Indians last year. Guess that has to improve by the law of averages.

Bad luck continues.

Could have been a 1-6-3 double play ball but Crow couldn't handle it cleanly.

Or 1st and 3rd with no outs and Nieto's first major league hit.

Somewhat productive out for Nieto

Eaton will walk to keep up the tradition of Semien coming to the plate for our most important at-bats

Not a single hard hit ball with RISP today. Something that's noticeable about this lineup is that there are only 5 guys in it that are threats to hit double-digit homers.

0 for 7 with RISP now I think.

I guess on the previous Nieto ball it would have been 1st and 3rd, 1 out. DeAza was out to begin the inning.

Semien should eventually hit 15-18. But not this year.

Abreu, Viciedo, Gillaspie, DeAza should manage it. Plus no Dunn/Garcia in the line-up.

The problem's not the power so much as lack of clutch hitting in the last couple of games...and the bullpen.

ESPN Stats & Info ‏@ESPNStatsInfo 4m

The White Sox had 4 Cuban-born players in their starting lineup today, the 1st time a team has done that since the Indians on April 8, 1969

Nice job by Danks today

Danks has thrown 115 through 7.

Welcome to MLB Baseball 2014

Danks almost unraveled in the 4th/5th but got things back together to finish the game on a high note.

Let's hope "good" Cleto shows up in the bottom of the 8th.

They needed that outing from Danks today.

What is it with KC turning bust starters into MRP/SU?

way to go Marcus!

  • Author

Marcus is now hitting above .100!!!!

Threw that 2nd pitch right by him.

BAL has scored 4 in the 9th. They now trail DET 7-5.

Looks like it might be Downs instead of Cleto.

Semien with a nice approach against a pitcher with really good stuff in Wade Davis. Maybe that will help to rebuild his confidence.

Tigers' bullpen falling apart. That will be their Achilles' heel all season. They were up 7-1 or 7-2 and now it's 7-6 with Baltimore still batting in the 9th.

How is Hawk holding up now that the excitement of the first two games have been replaced by reality?
