April 9, 201412 yr QUOTE (flavum @ Apr 9, 2014 -> 07:19 AM) http://www.milb.com/scoreboard/index.jsp?c...mp;ymd=20140409 Hope Tyler Danish is a morning person. Nathaniel Stoltz on twitter was saying that Danish was touching 92 in his last start. He lost a lot of velocity towards end of season last year. If he can sit around 92-93 with that delivery, I think that he can be pretty effective.

April 9, 201412 yr QUOTE (flavum @ Apr 9, 2014 -> 09:15 AM) Dykstra ended up starting. Not Danish. Josh Feldman is saying the Monday rainout pushed everyone back a day, as they had Wheeler start one of the DH games.

April 10, 201412 yr Tim Anderson striking out too much so far this season. It's incredible though how many extra base hits him and Hawkins are getting.
April 10, 201412 yr Awful start for Beck tonight. This organization needs to continue to add a lot of pitching depth.
April 10, 201412 yr Common cautions apply, its early, etc, but Myles Jaye may end up the best pitching prospect out of B'ham this season.
April 10, 201412 yr QUOTE (daggins @ Apr 9, 2014 -> 08:41 PM) Common cautions apply, its early, etc, but Myles Jaye may end up the best pitching prospect out of B'ham this season. I'm a fan of his, and reports this spring have been good. I'm optimistic.

Definitely possible. I think they (Snogress/Jaye/Bassitt/Beck) all have similar back of rotation/long relief type profiles.
