Semien is a 2nd baseman only. Gillaspie can't return soon enough.

Semien on 200 K pace he cannot stay on roster If he does not improve. His defense has turned to s*** also.

Offense is rolling

 

The bench is so thin/bad right now, they can't even bench guys like Semien or even Alexei, who don't match up well with Masterson and could use a breather.

Usually on a hit and run, even non contact guys become a little better at it makes you watch the ball longer and go the other way and the emphasis is on contact. Unfortunately the pitch was so far outside Semien couldn't make contact. Not his fault.
