Arguably in hindsight you both are right. You could assume the bunt might shake him up and indeed Escobar rifled the double. However he was right at 100 pitches wasn't he? I don't have a problem with him pitching the eighth because of pitch count and the fact he was doing well.

I have no idea why Daniel Webb wasn't put in the game instead of Petricka. He is the only reliever besides Guerra who hasn't thrown in KC. I find it hard that he wasn't told he was hot before the game.

 

Q has not pitched well when going through the line up a 3rd or 4th time plus he as at 100 pitches.. After that bunt he should have defiantly been taken out for a right hander (I would have put in Putnam or Webb)
