Same reason we still have Mitchell, Danks, Axelrod and 1/2 the Charlotte roster there.

 

I'm guessing they don't want to needlessly expose a better prospect to being lost at some point until they actually have to be placed on the roster.

Keon Barnum has a 5-game hitting streak. He’s 8-17 during the steak. Just one double and no homers though.

Holy crap, I knew Keenyn Walker was doing bad, but I did not realize he's hitting .149! Too bad to see Jaye get torched too. I thought he might have some value after the year he had last year.

Eh. No disrespect to Kevan Smith, but when he is the "Star of the Day," the top prospects didn't do anything that spectacular.

It seems that with the collection of players in the Sox farm system that they would be able to find room for Sammy Ayala somewhere, just to see if he has a future in the game.

the problem is not throwing hard but the location of the pitch. if his fastball is flat and straight, all the batters have to do wait. location, location and movement of the

fastball is the key.
