If his brother can hit like this, somebody is going to get a good hitter in 10 days.

Gillaspie's swing is amazing. He is a star in the making. Bye bye Davidson. WOW

Having depth is great, as it means more trade chips if needed

Remember when people wanted Gillaspie DFA'd this winter in order to keep Dunn.

God I love Conor's swing....If he can develop into that 1.5-3WAR player that takes the edge off of Matt Davidson and gives Hahn even more options; might even begin to consider looking at a contract similar to was offered to matt dominguez

I hated Gillaspie. Maybe our new hitting coach is that good.

Getting deep into Cleveland pen also.

And the people that want De Aza DFA'd now for a guy with a wRC+ of 17? (De Aza's is 39)

Dunn having a bad day.

De Aza is worthless If he got cut today he would clear waivers no problem. Never seen a guy hitting .175 on Memorial Day defended so much. All his outs are line drives bad luck nonsense, his K rate is thru the roof.

His K rate is 24.5%, his career average is 20.7%. Sierra's by the way is 29.1%.

Average is .175 no defending it anymore.

It was a nice run for Putnam.

You know you want to see Belly in the 9th.

If average is the only thing that matters, why mention his K rate?

If we lose this game I will not be watching games from start to finish anymore. Too frustrating and time consuming.

Way to go with the splitter! Two out.

With a 1-run lead.

I am not writing War and Peace about him, I could of mentioned bad base running and horrid defense. You got the cliff notes version.

Can Downs get this guy out? If he can't, what damn good is he??

It's up to you, Downs.

Statistically, Raburn must outperform his career stats against the Sox more than any player ever in the history of baseball.

Don't get to ball 3 Downs

The only one of either of those that has ever graded negatively in his career is his 2013 defence, and that wasn't by much, and that's been addressed by moving to a less strenuous defensive position.

Downs does his job K

Scott Downs did a thing!

There's no way that was a strike, but I'll take it.

Awesome. I figured it out. This ump can't judge lefties' pitches well! That was a ball. I'll take it. Way to go, Downs. Put this one in Downs' plus column.
